I was asked to provide artwork for a convention happening here in Northern Ireland in February. Specifically the guys running the show wanted me to go with an image that featured G1 Optimus Prime (to go with their massive 30ft mockup). I could resist.

This is the result of a collaboration between myself and colouring maestro :iconwordmongerer: who more than delivered the goods. Unfortunately the convention guys went with their own background so this is the only place where you'll see this version of the image.

As the first piece of big artwork that I've done since summer of last year I don't think this came out too bad. Not without it's flaws. Personally I'd have loved a more dynamic pose but my skills aren't quite there yet.

All being well this is the first of many new pieces of artwork you'll see from me over the next while.
